A New Partnership In Las Vegas
Networking is about giving without expecting. Mike attended my chapter meeting two weeks ago and told me about his business and intentions. When someone tells me they have a website, the conversation becomes about how they measure success. (Additionally, with Universal Analytics being deprecated on July 1, part of that dialogue is asking anyone if they know what is coming.)
When Mike told everyone about his why, he was someone I wanted as a client. When the luncheon finished, he told me he would be in contact with me.
This past Thursday night, Mike was at the networking mixer event. We spoke for over an hour. Hearing more about what he wants to accomplish, I referred him to a friend who is an Instagram pro, and we will be working together to get his business - dream to the next level.
Knowing his story, he reminded me of where I was several years ago, building what is now Zen Digital. As we left Thursday night, I told him all you need is that one client or customer to create the momentum.
